Italian-Style Salmon Steaks recipe

Ingredients

2 pounds of salmon steaks
2 cups of Italian dressing
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
2 teaspoons of salt
¼ teaspoon of pepper
Paprika to taste

Directions

1. Thaw the frozen salmon steaks.  Cut into serving size portions and place in a single layer in a shallow baking dish. 

2. Combine the remaining  ingredients, except the paprika.  Pour the sauce over the fish and let stand for 30 minutes, turning once.  Remove the fish, reserving the sauce for basting.

3. Place the fish in a well greased, hinged wire grill.  Sprinkle with paprika. Cook about 4 inches from moderately hot coals for 8 minutes. Baste with sauce and sprinkle with paprika. Turn the fish over and cook for 7 - 10 minutes longer or until the fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
